Acceptable Usage Policy
This acceptable usage policy, AUP, applies to all customers of Fierce Host.
This includes, and is not restricted to, all customers of any resellers of
Fierce Host. Fierce Host reserves the right to change any part or all of
this AUP at any time without prior notice.
Please be sure to read this page in full before signing up for any of Fierce
Host's web hosting plans. If you have any questions about any part of this
AUP please be sure to email us at sales@fiercehost.com before signing up
with any of our plans. Signing up with any of Fierce Host's plans will be
deemed as a confirmation that you agree with all sections of this AUP.
Fierce Host reserves the right to discontinue or deny access, without any
prior notice, to anyone who violates the terms and/or restrictions set forth
on this page. If you do not agree with any part of this AUP please
discontinue your account immediately and email us at sales@fiercehost.com.
General Policies
Unacceptable uses of your account include, but are not limited to: Bulk
e-mailing, unsolicited e-mailings, spam site advertising, newsgroup
spamming, illegal content, copyright infringement, trademark infringement,
warez, cracks, software serial numbers, online gambling, and/or anything
else determined by us to be unacceptable use of Fierce Host 's services.
Prohibited Activities:
1) Mass Emailing by anyone through the Fierce Host network is strictly
prohibited and will not be tolerated. This includes ANY of the email
addresses hosted by Fierce Host.
2) Resale or giving away of Fierce Host products and services without the
express prior written consent by Fierce Host, unless you are an authorized
reseller.
3) The running of any malicious software on the Fierce Host network,
including but not limited to viruses, Trojans, crackers, or worms.
4) Any kind of network monitoring done on the Fierce Host network without
written consent of Fierce Host is also strictly prohibited.
5) Any sending of any information to Fierce Host or any other internet
network in the attempt to disrupt that network.
6) Providing Fierce Host with false or incorrect data on the order form
including but not limited to name, address, phone number and/or credit card
number.
7) Utilizing the Fierce Host network to access IRC or use IRC bots.
8) Access other networks and abusing their resources from the Fierce Host
network such as sending emails or news postings through another networks
server.
9) Utilizing the Fierce Host network and/or any Fierce Host resources to
promote, display or transmit questionable material or content. This includes
but is not limited to nudity, racist, adult, explicit, or sexually related
content. Fierce Host reserves the right to decide which content falls in to
this category and which do not.
10) The usage of more than 30% of Fierce Host's network by any one site at
any given time.
Responsibility:
As a user on the Fierce Host network you are responsible for all of the
information and/or data pertaining to your account. This includes taking
responsibility for all the material on your site and stored in your account
to ensure that is does not violate any local, state, federal, or
international laws.
Fierce Host makes no guarantee of the security and/or privacy of the
information either stored on the Fierce Host technology or transmitted
through the Fierce Host network and makes no guarantee that any other entity
will be included and/or excluded from the Fierce Host network. Fierce Host
staff may also periodically monitor the transmissions on the Fierce Host
network for maintenance and/or service quality assurance.
Should anyone violate any aspect of this AUP your account may be
terminated at the discretion of the Fierce Host staff without notice and
without refund.
